The College of Health and Medical Technologies, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University, held a scientific symposium on protecting the air environment via closed television channel, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Ashar from the University of Lebanon lectured.
He pointed out that the responsibility for preserving the environment falls on everyone, whether individuals, groups or institutions, and the matter may not seem easy to implement sometimes, as the necessary measures to protect the environment may contradict with human gain and the financial profit of institutions.
Pointing out that attempts to use the correct tools and common sense are necessary, and to develop a set of encouraging incentives for committed institutions and enact some laws that help preserve the environment is a must, in order to reach the best cooperation formula between all segments of society.
