The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Ayen University participated in the training course to prepare the national assessor for institutional accreditation, which was held at Al-Ameed University in the Holy City of Karbala.
The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Raed Mahous, and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at our university, Professor Dr. Ali M. Al-Tamimi participated in the course, which was supervised by the most qualified professors specializing in the field of higher education quality.
The course indicated how to verify universities’ application of institutional accreditation standards by training on how to institutional evaluation, which requires the preparation of qualified national assessors who are able to ensure wether our Iraqi universities achieve institutional accreditation standards or not, with high accuracy, integrity and credibility, and provide them with knowledge and performance skills that qualify them for professional work efficiently and effectively in a team. The national assessors within the evaluation and accreditation stages of educational institutions in Iraq.
