On Monday, November 14, 2022, the Continuing Education Center at the university, in cooperation with the Iraqi Political Science Association in Dhi Qar, held an awareness workshop on the mechanisms of promoting political rights among students at the Continuing Education Hall, in the presence of a number of university students.
The President of the Association Assistant Teacher Ahmed A. Ali, lectured in the workshop. He dealt with the most prominent types of political rights contained in the International conventions, the Iraqi constitution and Iraqi laws. He highlighted, how those rights can be promoted through educational institutions.
