  • Analyzing solitary wave solutions of the nonlinear Murray equation for blood flow in vessels with non-uniform wall properties: Research on understanding blood flow dynamics in vessels contributes to improved diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
  • The long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) in the pathogenesis of gastric cancer cells: molecular mechanisms and involvement miRNAs: Studies the genetic and molecular mechanisms of cancer, which aids in the development of targeted cancer therapies.
  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon exposure during pregnancy and changes in umbilical renal function: Research on environmental health risks during pregnancy contributes to maternal and child health, aligning with SDG 3.
  • Nutrient patterns and risk of diabetes mellitus type 2: a case-control study: Investigates the relationship between diet and diabetes, which is vital for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases.
  • Vitamin B1 and calcitriol enhance glibenclamide suppression of diabetic nephropathy: Role of HMGB1/TLR4/NF-κB/TNF-α/Nrf2/α-SMA trajectories: Focuses on new treatments for diabetic complications, contributing to better management of chronic diseases.
  • A systematic review and meta-analysis of the association between exposure to potentially toxic elements and gestational diabetes mellitus: Highlights environmental health issues and their impact on gestational health, supporting maternal and neonatal well-being.
  • Association of residential exposure to air pollution and ANRIL expression in adults with and without ischemic stroke in Iran: A cross-sectional study: Examines the health impacts of air pollution, helping to understand and mitigate risk factors for cardiovascular diseases.
  • Insights and perceptions: Investigating pregnant women’s attitudes, understanding, and factors influencing knowledge regarding medication usage during pregnancy—A cross-sectional study: Focuses on public health awareness, ensuring safe medication use during pregnancy to promote maternal and infant health.

During 2023-2024, Al-Ayen Iraqi University has published more than 300 research articles related to health and well-being, reflecting its commitment to advancing SDG 3. As shown in table below.
