Strategic planning
Based on the directives of Director General of Iraqi Women Empowerment Department / General Secretary of Ministers Council, the Women Empowerment Department of the City Council organized three workshops on (strategic planning) and (preparing gender responsive programs ) and ( crises management ) for the liaisons of governmental associations in presence of Deputy Governor for following up affairs Mr. Abbas Al-Khuzaee, and supported by complete program and the lecturer, Mr. Muhammad Jumaa, and the number of participants in the training workshops was around 30. The aim of holding these training workshops was to develop the capabilities of liaisons in preparing plans, programs and all activities in their institutions to advance the status of women in the Province.
Seminar entitled (How to integrate women into the sustainable development agenda)
The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Woman's Empowerment Unit, held a symposium entitled (How to integrate women into the sustainable development agenda). The symposium was run by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abeer Abdul- Jaleel and the lecturer Dr. Ahmed Ali Khamas, a member of the Iraqi Association for Political Science - Dhi Qar, on Tuesday (6-12-2022) at 10:00 am

Boats Annual Festival
Under the sponsorship of Dhi Qar Governor Dr. Mohammad H. Hussein, Mayor of Al-Chibayesh Mr. Kifah Sh. Al-Asadi and the support of the Woman net for peace, the Women Empowerment Department in Dhi Qar in cooperation with the Nature of Iraq Organization and Ur Organization for Woman and Child Education on the occasion of Woman International Day, They hold the Boats Annual Festival on Friday. It was attended by a number of Characters from Iraqi Cities, Woman Empowerment Unit of Al-Ayen University, a number of Civil Activists , Social Organizations , and the Voluntary Groups for promote Tourism at the Marshes
