The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, participated in the first festival for women's development and creativity organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Baghdad under the slogan *(If you prepare it)* in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, who represented His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with the participation of a number of presidents of public and private universities and prominent academic and cultural figures.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Haider, stressed in his speech that "the Ministry has made great steps in implementing the National Strategy for Iraqi Women, which aims to empower women and enhance their role in building society, explaining that "the festival represents a qualitative platform to consolidate the status of women within university institutions, and encourage them to assume leadership positions and prominent tasks."
The festival witnessed the honoring of the winning universities, including Al-Ayen Iraqi University, represented by its Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, for the great community services provided by the university that contribute to the development of women and the empowerment of their role in society.
The participation of Al-Ayen Iraqi University in this event reflects its interest in enhancing the role of women, supporting creativity and women's development, and encouraging its students and affiliates to achieve achievements that contribute to serving and developing society.
