The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik inaugurated on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the annual innovation exhibition and student bazaar organized by the College of Engineering in cooperation with the Cultural Committee and the Student Activities Unit, as part of the activities of the Entrepreneurship Week.
The inaugation was attended by the Deputy Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoun, and the Dean of the College of Engineering Prof. Dr. Firas F. Kazim, in addition to elite of faculty members and university students.
The exhibition included a display of creative projects and engineering innovations from the college students, in addition to the student bazaar activities that included handicrafts and various entrepreneurial initiatives. These activities demonstrated the practical skills and spirit of innovation among the participating students.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Kazim expressed his pride in the students' efforts and their role in enhancing the college's position through their creative projects. He stressed the importance of holding such events that contribute to developing students' skills and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit, praising the great support from the university administration to achieve these goals.
The exhibition received wide acclaim from the attendees for the creative works presented by the students that reflect their academic level and practical skills.
