The Central Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation Committee at the Technical Engineering College held its third periodical meeting on November 3, 2024, headed by Dr. Ahmed Najm and with the follow-up and support of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri. The meeting included discussing the achievement rates achieved in the self-evaluation file criteria and evaluating the progress made in achieving the academic accreditation goals.
During the meeting, committee members provided comments on the programmatic evaluation criteria, and discussed the means that would support the adoption of the institutional accreditation system as a comprehensive policy and work culture in the Technical Engineering College. The importance of enhancing learning outcomes and linking them to graduation outcomes and academic program goals was emphasized, ensuring their compatibility with international accreditation requirements.
The meeting concluded with setting future plans to follow up on progress in implementing accreditation standards and completing the self-evaluation steps, which would contribute to developing the college and enhancing its educational quality.
