The Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri and Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi held a meeting on November 2, 2024, with student representatives of the college's departments to congratulate them on their new positions after the recent elections and assuming their duties.
During the meeting, the most important issues of concern to students and the challenges they face in their academic career were discussed, as the Dean reviewed the proposals submitted by the student representatives and praised their effective role in conveying the voice of their colleagues and working to solve the problems they face. He also stressed the importance of supporting them and developing effective communication channels between the administration and students to enhance cooperation.
Dr. Rafid stressed the college's keenness to involve students in making academic decisions and working together to build a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing their skills and enhancing their creativity.
