The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Engineering at our university, organized a workshop entitled "Engaging in Renouncing Violence and Spreading Legal Culture to Combat the Illegal Proliferation of Weapons". The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Jalal S. Jabr from the College of Education, where he discussed during his lecture the types of violence and its negative effects on society, and the important role played by the university in confronting this phenomenon through awareness and spreading legal culture.
Dr. Jalal pointed out the great dangers of the proliferation of illegal weapons and their negative impact on community security, stressing the importance of cooperation between various academic and community bodies to combat this phenomenon by spreading awareness and enhancing legal understanding among individuals.
