The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University participated effectively in the Chess Championship organized by the University Activities Department. This championship aims to enhance extracurricular activities and encourage strategic thinking among students. The championship took place in an exciting competitive atmosphere between the various colleges and departments of the university.
In the male category, student Ahmed Abdullah Manhal from the Petroleum Engineering Department managed to reach the final stages, achieving fourth place after strong confrontations with his colleagues from various colleges.
As for the female students category, student Zainab Asaad from the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department excelled by winning second place. She gave an exceptional performance throughout the championship, overcoming many competitors due to her high focus and distinguished strategic skills, which made her reach the final match.
The championship was characterized by high sportsmanship and interaction, and a large number of male and female students participated, as the event was an opportunity to enhance the spirit of cooperation and competition between the university departments.
