The Engineering Technical College resumed its course entitled “The Development of Wireless Communications from the 1st G to the 5th G and Beyond” on its second day consecutively, which was delivered by (Assist. Lect. Aseel Ahed Qasim) faculty member of Science and Mathematics at Dhi Qar University and ( Assist. Lect. Najla M. Mohia faculty member of Pure Sciences at Dhi Qar University, within the Al-Ayen Iraqi University.
The axes of the second (the final) day of the course included a review and clarification of the technologies that enabled 5G, the uses of each technology and its advantages, the importance of these frequencies in the fifth generation of communications, their types, benefits and role in communications, the advantages provided by these types of technologies (millimeter wave, small cells, Massive MIMO, Beamforming)
In conclusion, the Deanship of the College, represented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi, presented certificates of appreciation and letters of thanks to the two lecturers and expressed its thanks to them in appreciation of the efforts made in preparing and presenting this scientific event, which mainly targeted our students in both departments and strengthened their capabilities in the fields of Their studies.
