In an attempt to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG No. 17: Establish partnerships to achieve the goals), the Engineering Technical College, represented by the Medical Device Technology Engineering Department, conducted scientific trip for the first year - the morning study to the Specialized Heart Center in Dhi Qar through a delegation that includes a number of members of the Authority, faculty members and a group of students.
A meeting was held with the head of the Maintenance Division at the Heart Center, who expressed his continued welcome and thanks to the visiting delegation. Several points were discussed, the most important of which was holding joint workshops between our college and the Heart Center and preparing to train our students during the summer vacation. An invitation was also extended to specialized engineers to give seminars and science conferences in our college. During the meeting, our students were trained, and a detailed explanation was given about the advanced medical equipment used in the center and how it works.
In the same context, the visiting delegation thanked the director of the Heart Hospital for the warm reception and cooperation of the engineering staff at the center with the students.
