In support of achieving sustainable development goals SDG, Goal No. 17: Establishing partnerships to achieve the goals, and with the aim of enhancing constructive scientific cooperation between public and private universities, Engineering Technical College held a course entitled "The development of wireless communications from the first generation to the fifth generation and beyond," which was delivered by (Assist. Lect. Aseel A. Qasim) faculty member of Science and Mathematics at the University of Dhi Qar, and (Assist. Lect. Najla M. Mohia) faculty member of the pure sciences at College of Education / Dhi Qar University for the period starting April 16-18, 2024
The axes of the first day of the course included a review of the development of data transfer between generations and a comparison between the generations of wireless communications (from 1G to 5G), in addition to addressing 5G technologies and the uses of each of them according to different applications.
At the end of the first day of the course, both lecturers presented a number of questions about the lecture, which mainly targeted the students because the course axes are considered essential for students of the Computer Technology Engineering Department in the specialized and post-graduation stages.
