The College of Oil Engineering at Al-Ayen University continued with the Summer Training for its students at several Oil Companies, among which were Thi-Qar Oil Co. Basra Oil Co. Iraqi Oil Products Distribution Co. and Iraqi Refineries Co.
The Summer training is considered one of the important requirements for the College of Oil Engineering which helps improving the students scientific and practical skills. The training covered several axes such as general identification of the oil reservoirs, the drilling problems facing the oil companies, the important safety requirements and guidance at the oil sites and the tests and analysis for the oil wells to determine their nature.
The training was supervised by the lecturer Dr. Murtatha Dugaim and the Dean Assistant for Administrative Affairs Asst. Lecturer Khaldoon Talib Falih. The university is keen to train the students to combine their scientific life with their practical life so as to facilitate and simplify the image for graduates through implementing an integrated training program in one of the oil fields.
