As part of the activities of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Office of the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs to request Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ)to establish the digital Iraqi academic researcher platform. The university provided an introductory workshop on the platform for the participants in the modern teaching methods course from the team of consultants, trainers, and trainees in the central conference hall at the university.
The Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Shafik Sh. Al-Mawla, and the Vice-Chanceller of the University for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon were the lecturers at this workshop. Which provided an explanation about the platform, which is considered one of the most important digital platforms that provide the necessary support and resources for researchers in Iraq.
The workshop declared the services provided by the platform, among which is a database for researchers working in Iraqi universities and research centers to allow the collection and organization of information of Iraqi researchers in a central database, which facilitates access to this information and the exchange of knowledge among researchers.
As well as creating and updating researchers' personal files with minimal effort, to facilitate uploading their academic and research information and scientific activities on one web page, which enhances a comprehensive view of their academic and scientific path.
The platform enables researchers to communicate with each other and with the community in different ways. They can add their research interests and personal skills, thus enhancing cooperation and knowledge exchange among Iraqi researchers.
The platform displays a variety of Iraqi journals, facilitating access to local resources and promoting local scientific research and knowledge exchange internally.
In conclusion, all opinions put forward in the workshop were recorded by academics from all Iraqi universities, so that the platform could be updated to provide the highest level of smoothness in the researcher's dealings with it.
