In a grieve atmosphere, Al-Ayen University was honored to raise the flag of Imam Hussein (pbuh) as an announcement for the beginning of Sacred Month of Muharram and start of grieve season of Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (pbuh)
The Flag-Raising Ceremony was attended by the President of the University Prof. Dr. Shafik Sh. Shafik, Vice-President for the Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Dean of Technical Engineering College Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jibouri, Dean of College of Health and Medical Technologies Dr. Maitham T. Al-Mosawi and a number of the University's employees.
It is worth mentioning that the University has been raising the flag of Imam Hussein (pbuh) every year because it represents the flag of free and revolutionaries and a methodology that teaches lessons of discipline and the necessity to follow the mission of Imam Husssein (pbuh) and the principles he highlighted in Al-Taf painful battle
