On Thursday, July 28, 2022 the Technical Engineering College at Al-Ayen University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center (CEC), conducted the practical application on x-ray machines at Al-Azhar Private Hospital. This is part of the methodology of the training course "Principles of the X-ray machine, a theoretical and practical course for the basics, programming and maintenance". It was set up by specialized professors and designed to develop the skills of the trainees and support them scientifically and practically, through the training and development program announced by the Deanship of the College.
The Course is witnessing the conclusion of its second week having completed its theoretical curriculum, in which a number of qualitative scientific lectures were presented by the Deputy Dean of the College, Dr. Taif A. Faisal, Eng. Sura A. Musa and Eng. Noor M. Abdulhussein. Today, was the practical application part for the trainees at the Al-Azhar Private Hospital, where students participated in all required procedures to conduct the tests.
Regarding the role of the CEC in such activities, the Director of the Center, Asst. Lect. Ahmed R. Al-Ghazi, explained, "The center, in cooperation with the faculties at our university, is keen to raise awareness among students on the importance of training through our summer holiday programs ". This is a step forward to enhance their theoretical and practical knowledge in various specialties, which will enormously qualifies them for their targeted jobs". He pointed out " many institutions would require submitting certificates in certain courses that enhance their CVs".
He added, "The center started developing training programs to engage students with distinctive training opportunities in line with their desires and tendencies, to learn new skills and gain experience through theoretical lectures and scientific application".
