Prof. Dr. Haider Marhoon received on Sunday, May 22,2022 the Iraqi Parliament member Dhi-Qar Province the Deputy Chairman of Higher Education Parliamentary committee Dr. Adel Al-Rikabi
The MP was very well welcomed and thanked for his concerns during the meeting at the office of the University's President. A number of higher education issues were discussed including the University's future plans in the field of development, scientific research and academic upgrade
The MP conducted a tour in the University's facilities including halls and labs of the colleges and departments besides the dental teaching hospital. He was escorted by University President's two assistants and Dean of the College of Dentistry Asst. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Al-Khuzaee.
The MP in his turn affirmed his full support to the University at scientific, service and research fields which meant to serve the province residents. He wished sustained prosperity to the University and its staff and students
