Dr. Abdul Rahman Khalifa/ College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Ayen University, succeeded in obtaining a patent in the creation of lactam and premidine components and studied their effectiveness as anti -tumors.
The patent aimed to prove the effectiveness of the created components as anti-oxidants and tumors. They showed high effectiveness as antioxidants against the roots of diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH)-1,1 and also showed their high effectiveness as anti-cancer when tested against breast cancer cells (MCF 7).
These components were diagnosed by FT-IR infrared, H1-NMR, C13-NMR and Mass Spectrum.
