The Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Shafiq Al-Mawla, announced on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, that the university has not been threatened and it has being performing its daily duties smoothly.He declared, "All the faculties and departments in the two Compounds of the university work in a normal and orderly manner, and the lectures as well as some other activities were held today," stressing that "the follow-up department in all its administrative units in our university has being performing its duty to the fullest, including organizing the entry of students and visitors, inspection process, and following up and monitoring all suspected cases". He requested the media to remain vigilant before releasing, ensuring that the source of information does not become a source of rumors that disrupt the whole society
