Al-Ayen University received a committee representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research assigned to evaluate the adequacy of the material and Human resources and the scientific Laboratories to establish Computer Technology and Medical Devices Technology Departments within the engineering Colleges of the University for the year 2021-2022
The committee was received by the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik and the Vice-Chncellor for the Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the Vice-Chancellor for Administrative Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Oudah, the Dean of College of Engineering Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa M. Alfaez, members of the University Council and a number of Teaching and Administrative Staff
The committee was formed of Prof. Dr. Kathum M. Hashim, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa J. Hayawi from the Education College for pure sciences at Nasiriya University and Dr. Yahya R. Autaiwi from the Engineering College of Thi-Qar University
The committee inspected the laboratories, halls and facilities of the Computer Technology and Medical Devices technology Engineering Departments belonging to Engineering College, which were equipped with the most modern devices and from solid international sources
The committee then met the teaching staff to verify their Scientific capabilities. At the end of its visit, the committee wished the University, its students and Staff prosperity and success
